Celebrating the achievements and aspirations of the
Class of 2026
Beyond the numbers at UWC South East Asia
While the pursuit of academic excellence remains at the heart of a UWCSEA education, we recognise that success takes many forms and means different things to each of our graduates. The diversity in their learning journeys and accomplishments is how we define success at the College.
So, let's take a moment to celebrate how 652 students of the Class of 2026 have grown as individuals, ready to take on the next chapter of their lives.
UWCSEA Dover Graduation 2026
UWCSEA East Graduation 2026
Each graduate has worked hard to identify and pursue their passions, understand their strengths and develop aspirations for their futures.
“I love UWCSEA so much and graduation has been a long time coming. I'm so excited to take everything that I've learnt to the next life that I lead because this place has been my home for 14 years and it's inevitable that it has influenced the kind of person that I am today. We're all so interconnected, ultimately through the same kind of values we've been brought up with, especially those of us from Kindergarten 1.”
Elsa, Class of 2026, UWCSEA Dover is part of the first cohort to complete the course System Transformation: Leadership for Change. She led the Girls in STEM society, established a peer coaching programme and ran an after-school Design programme for Middle School girls.
“I’m proud of committing long term to Service and taking on leadership roles, especially being chair of both Conservation@SEA and Gili Eco Trust. It was challenging leading two different groups at the same time, but it pushed me to develop skills in leadership, responsibility, and communication quickly.”
Josh, Class of 2026, UWCSEA East led advocacy and educational activities for younger students among many other projects during the five years he was part of the Conservation@SEA environmental initiative.
Through the five elements of the Learning Programme, our graduates become principled and compassionate young people, who collaborate, lead, and care deeply about those around them and the planet.
Academics
With more than 40 IB courses available, including the new Systems Transformation: Leadership for Change course, Academics takes centre stage in our students' final year. This includes the completion of requirements such as Community Action and Service (CAS), Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and the Extended Essay (EE).
Activities
In addition to Academics, our graduates continue to explore their passions, develop new skills and contribute to the community by taking part in some of the 90 Activities available to them during lunchtime or after school in their final year.
Outdoor Education (OEd)
All students participate in Project Week during Grade 11. In Grade 12, more than 400 students were involved in trips within Singapore and abroad for OEd, sports, Service and Academics.
Personal Social Education (PSE)
Students gain greater self-awareness, explore their identities and learn about relationships through 41 Mentor classes, Extended Essay support, the University Advising Programme, and wellbeing and support systems.
Service
With more than 1500 College, Singapore and Global Concerns (overseas) Service groups at UWCSEA, the graduating class conclude Service learning where they build leadership skills and empathy, and experience being agents of change.

Diversity is UWCSEA's strength.
Our graduates learned alongside students from more than 117 countries with 80 languages spoken.
“An important part of the learning process was understanding UWCSEA’s great diversity. The first month was a wave upon wave of learning about multiple cultures, from language to customs to food! I realised how different we are from each other and that we needed to understand each other's culture in depth... By being open-minded to embrace diversity, we are living the UWC Mission that unites us.”
Jessi, Class of 2026, UWCSEA Dover on arriving at the College as a Scholar from Peru.
“One of the most important changes has been my increased understanding of the interconnectedness of our world and the growing need for individuals to take action on global challenges. Studying subjects like SEED (in Middle School) and Geography further shaped my understanding of sustainability and the impact individuals can have on creating positive change no matter the age, background, or gender.”
Alexa, Class of 2026, UWCSEA East also credits her involvement with Service from Grade 4 as helping her to develop her intercultural understanding.
The UWCSEA community is a dependable source of support
As a defining characteristic of the College, the community is always instrumental in championing our graduates' successes and assisting them in times of challenge.
A robust network of educators, administrators, staff, parents, alumni and the wider community worked together to support each student's needs.
“All the support I've received from coaches, the Head of Activities and also the teachers, Vice Principals, Head of the Grade. They've understood when I've had to go away for competitions and training camps…they've accepted that and trusted me in doing the work.”
Viggo Altarac, Class of 2026, UWCSEA East and an elite gymnast who competed in global competitions and for the Swedish National team during his time at UWCSEA.
“The Drama Department offered extensive support and guidance whenever I was stuck, as well as providing and sourcing resources when required. I was also able to recruit other students to help with areas such as props and music… it’s given me a great opportunity to learn how to balance my time.”
Rory Porter, Class of 2026, UWCSEA Dover and Director of several plays on his student-led production, A Doll’s House in Grade 11.
Students leave UWCSEA prepared for university, and for life.
Our graduates will enter the world beyond school with a unique experience of what matters now more than ever: peace, sustainability and intercultural understanding. They have learned to rise to challenges and navigate setbacks, build resilience, courage and confidence.
"We have always been told as UWCSEA students that even the smallest differences matter, and our project showed us how a student team can address global issues.
When people from different backgrounds work together, they can take on challenges much bigger than themselves. For us, that challenge is water sustainability. Even though we’re still in school, we’ve built drones that can actually make a difference in cleaning and protecting our environment. It’s our way of living the UWC Mission in a practical way and has taught us how collaboration can have a huge impact."
Jacob, Belle, Vikram, and Alex, Class of 2026, UWCSEA Dover are the team behind Dronaqua, who developed a tiny floating robot that spots pollution, cleans it up, and maps exactly where it was. It's intended as an affordable solution for detecting and reducing water pollution.
